"Thrive Orthodontics and Dr. Akkaway did an amazing job! I came in with a challenging open bite that felt a bit hopeless. Within 48 weeks my bite was fully corrected, using only Invisalign. Even my dentist was impressed that this was able to be done without full braces, and as quickly as it was. The doctors and staff were friendly and the office was run very efficiently. I never waited more than 5 minutes for my appointment and was always greeted with a smile on my way in, and a freshly baked cookie on my way out :) I would highly recommend Thrive Orthodontics for any smile or bite issue."

They are helpful, kind and the staff is exceptional. Two out of the three of my children have seen Dr. Akkaway. One has had Invisalign's and the other, traditional braces. They both have had great experiences. My third child will be getting braces within the year. You will not be disappointed!"

"We are extremely pleased with Akkaway Orthodontics. They are professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Dr Akkaway recommended Invisalign for our 12 year old daughter. I was hesitant to believe that Invisalign could work better than braces, however 11 months into her treatment (and are just about finished) and I am so happy we decided to go with Dr Akkaway's recommendation. "My 9 year old granddaughter was examined by Dr. Akkaway for possibly needing braces. I highly recommend this office. The first visit six months ago found this doctor and staff to be totally professional and caring and made Kathleen at ease and comfortable. Also, the office space is obviously following covid protocol 100%. We had a follow-up visit recently to reassess Kathleen's development. Braces will be applied in the next couple of months without any extractions being required. Kathleen is still extremely secure with this staff and is looking forward to treatment here. There is no doubt about the care and expertise in this office."
"My son has been a patient for about 1 1/2 years. Everything from the 1st visit to getting his braces removed was fantastic. The office staff are wonderful and walk you through every step.Dr. Akkaway is excellent with kids, very patient and kind. My son likes to ask a lot of questions and they always took the time to answer them too! The office has state of the art equipment and capability to do everything needed efficiently and effectively. We are very happy with our experience at this office. We highly recommend them. They also have a new pediatric dentist that recently joined the team."

"I got my son braces at Akkaway Orthodontics. Every time we have went there Mr. Akkaway and all his assistants were very kind. I had no doubt that this was the right place for my son as he also even tells me that it never hurts him. I am proud to say that this is the right orthodontist as there has never been a problem with my son, so I feel like I should also think that it won’t hurt anyone else either. "Dr.Akkaway and his staff are amazing. My son had braces a few years back and we were extremely happy with his results. My daughter is under going orthodontist treatment and I already see great results . Dr.Akkaway is very honest and is definetly not in a hurry to put braces on and take your money if not yet needed. His staff is wonderful as well. The Office is impecible . Clean and modern with all updated equipment I always recomend Dr.Akkaway, unfortunately he doesn't take my ins but was able to set up a payment plan that works for my family. It's visible that Dr.Akkaway cares about his patients and the results!"

Although I had braces as a child, over the next 3 decades my teeth did shift a bit so I decided to get braces again as an adult and I'm so happy I went with Dr.Akkaway. "I have been a patient of Dr.Akkaways for a year now! Whoo Hoo! The reason we chose Dr. Akkaway for my orthodontist is because both Dr. Akkaway and his staff made us feel right at home immediately. It is like buying a pair of shoes" Your not going to buy them if they don't fit right!" At first, I had gone for a consultation at another orthodontist, but my mother said we were going for a second opinion. Which is how I wound up at Dr. Akkaway's! I'm so happy we did because I couldn't imagine getting the experience I have received with Dr. Akkaway and his extremely friendly staff anywhere else. They are the perfect fit for me! As his patient he has an awesome waiting area with a flat screen T.V., video games, and more! Honestly though, we never had to wait so if I wanted to use any of these items I would go in the waiting area after my appointment. While you wait in the chair to have your braces tightened, repairs, etc... there is another flat screen T.V. with movies playing! But again I've really never had to wait Dr. Akkaway's offices are always busy with patients but there is never a wait you are taken in immediately. His staff are wonderful! They are so friendly and nurturing. Some people say having braces isn't fun but I have had such a great experience! Dr. Akkaway and his staff are making it not only easy but fun to get the perfect smile. I'm happy my braces are coming off soon so that I will be able to eat caramel again!
