"Thrive Orthodontics and Dr. Akkaway did an amazing job! I came in with a challenging open bite that felt a bit hopeless. Within 48 weeks my bite was fully corrected, using only Invisalign. Even my dentist was impressed that this was able to be done without full braces, and as quickly as it was. The doctors and staff were friendly and the office was run very efficiently. I never waited more than 5 minutes for my appointment and was always greeted with a smile on my way in, and a freshly baked cookie on my way out :) I would highly recommend Thrive Orthodontics for any smile or bite issue."

First off, the remodeled Kinnelon office is by far the best doctors office I've ever stepped foot into - from the waiting area with tablet stations to the TV's mounted on the ceiling (yes I said ceiling) above the chairs, the tech and appearance of this office is eye candy for anyone, let alone a techie like myself. I appreciate when a doctor has the latest tech, nothing turns me off more than a dentist who still has their original chairs from the 90's. I could go on for days about the office but don't let that take away from the staff and Dr. Akkaway - unbelievably organized, pleasant and willing to answer and assist with all questions. As his patient he has an awesome waiting area with a flat screen T.V., video games, and more! While you wait in the chair to have your braces tightened, repairs, etc... there is another flat screen T.V. with movies playing! But again I've really never had to wait Dr. Akkaway's offices are always busy with patients but there is never a wait you are taken in immediately. His staff are wonderful! They are so friendly and nurturing. Some people say having braces isn't fun but I have had such a great experience!
