"I would 100% recommend Thrive Orthodontics to anyone! I brought my son here to get Invisalign after getting hit in his mouth at basketball. The doctors & staff are extremely knowledgeable and explained the whole process thoroughly. From start to finish, they have always been patient, kind and ready to help in anyway possible. Thank you!!UPDATE: About 10 years ago, when my oldest son got braces, I asked his orthodontist to take a look at my teeth. He told me my mouth was too small and that I’d need to have teeth pulled before getting braces—otherwise, they’d just shift back over time. As I got older, my teeth continued to shift, so when my youngest son was finishing up his Invisalign treatment, I decided to get a consultation at Thrive Orthodontics.To my surprise, they told me I wouldn’t need any teeth pulled. The worst-case scenario, they said, might be shaving a little enamel—but even that wasn’t necessary. I’m so happy I went with Thrive. My teeth came out perfect!"

"As an adult the thought of an orthodontist is not something you look forward to however Dr. Akkaway and staff made my invisalign treatment amazing. First off, the remodeled Kinnelon office is by far the best doctors office I've ever stepped foot into - from the waiting area with tablet stations to the TV's mounted on the ceiling (yes I said ceiling) above the chairs, the tech and appearance of this office is eye candy for anyone, let alone a techie like myself. I appreciate when a doctor has the latest tech, nothing turns me off more than a dentist who still has their original chairs from the 90's. I could go on for days about the office but don't let that take away from the staff and Dr. Akkaway - unbelievably organized, pleasant and willing to answer and assist with all questions. I'd recommend Dr. Akkaway over and over again and based on other reviews I'm not alone. I'll definitely be bringing my kids when the day comes."

"I truly trust and enjoy Dr.Akkaway and his staff so much, that I drive 1.5 hours routinely for my appointments. I live out of state and still have kept him as my ortho because the experience has been so positive. Not only is the staff friendly but they are all knowledgeable.
